How This Site Works

We at AmericanMadeProducts.com, Inc. have designed this site to be navigated with ease.  We have provided a category index found on the left side of the web store where you can click on individual categories.  By selecting a specific category you’ll see a table menu appear highlighting many other products.  You may select a product from the table menu to narrow your search, or you can go to the top of the store and use our search engine and type what you are looking for.  If by chance you cannot locate what you are looking for, please feel free to e-mail us or call and speak to a live customer service representative. 

Once you have located the product you are looking for you will find a ribbon located to the left of each picture of the product.   The ribbon will be blue, red or yellow with a number of percent found on it. All products listed on the web store and catalog will have at least the minimum of 51% yellow ribbon rating.  If the product is at least 75 % made/manufactured/assembled in America, a red ribbon will be profiled.  Finally, if the product is 100% made/manufactured/assembled in America, a blue ribbon will be issued.

By creating the ribbon percentage concept, we are giving the consumer a wider choice of American made products to choose from.  Our ultimate goal by implementing the ribbon concept is to encourage companies to produce more products made in the United States.  We feel customers will choose the higher percentage products over the lower ones, and thus encourage manufactures to create more of the product at home instead of abroad.

If you can’t locate a product on our site we will do our best to find it for you.  Please inform us of any different names a product may have.  We understand certain products may have “nicknames” and/or “slang terms” due to geographical and/or cultural reasons.  We welcome your insight and suggestions to increase our vocabulary for our search engine.
