1. The chest strap has a metal ring in its center between two adjustment slides. Your leash will attach to the top of the ring when the harness in on your dog. The ring should be centered on the chest strap when it is adjusted properly. 2. The wither strap has an adjustment slide and a plastic buckle and is the same color as the chest strap. The plastic buckle will be on your dog’s right side when the harness is on correctly. 3. The girth strap also has an adjustment slide and a plastic buckle. To differentiate it from the wither strap, the girth strap is black. The girth strap buckles on your dog’s right side, just below the buckle for the wither strap.
